Teaching Feedback

In spring 2019, I surveyed students to gauge my teaching effectiveness and ways to improve. I had thirty-nine respondents from a class of eighty-six, a forty-five percent response rate. All answers were anonymous and voluntary.

Prior to the survey, I taught three segments of the course, titled “Liberalism and Conservatism,” on themes of “cosmopolitanism,” “Edmund Burke,” and “Robert Nisbet.” Below are all close-ended questions and a representative selection of open-ended comments.
